i feel very very sad.

i don't understand why he had to leave at such a young age.

this post is dedicated to my beloved friend ben aka kway chap (my bf !),

who has left mine /our world so suddenly.

sandra, sarah, darling & myself got to know this lovable guy from melody valley II (our previous workplace),

and it's fate that allowed us to be friends.

this guy, has done too many things for us,

such as standing up for us when we're bullied,

drinking for us when we already hit our limits,

throwing sushi parties at the pub,

fetching us home in the wee hours of night,

comforting us when we're sad,

cheering us up when we're in a bad mood,

and encouraging in our studies & taking our driving license.

i remember his cheery smile.

i remembered the last time me & sarah visited him in the hospital,

he looked so weak after his medication,

and was struggling to keep himself awake even though the effect of the medication already kicked in.

i remembered how he joked and said he was hospitalised right after the day sarah texted him to ask if he was fine (i asked sarah to text him one ;( ).

i remembered darling telling him tht 4 of us would visit him together soon,

i remembered sandra texting him to ask if he was alright (he still replied saying he'll be okay soon & that he'll bring us out to eat).

i remembered the fun times at melody valley II (the silly games we created, e.g. bird bird, the songs we sang, the jokes we played and even the drinks we drank).

and i'll always remember those times.

dearest bf ! although you're gone,

you'll be kept in our hearts, etched in our memories.

remember love love ?

we'll really really miss ya, especially your smile.

sarah, darling & myself went to his wake earlier.

we went straight after work bacause we'll be busy in the next few days,

but nevertheless, i hope 4 of us will make ourselves free on monday morning to send him off on his last journey.
